`Boruto: Naruto Next Generations` is a new comic series drawn about the next generation of Naruto, the legendary manga about the fantasy ninja world loved by many people of the 8x and early 9x generations.
However, unlike the movie Boruto: Naruto The Movie, the comic book about Boruto immediately encountered fierce reactions from long-time Naruto fans when it was released, most people found it impossible to swallow.
Seeing that the sequel to his brainchild was estranged from fans, author Kishimoto decided to put all projects on hold and replace Kodachi (Boruto author) to continue writing the Boruto manga from chapter 52 onwards.
Boruto is currently in chapter 66, which sees Naruto’s son choosing death to eliminate Momoshiki and avoid him taking over his power and controlling his brain.
