(2022/23 Champions League Final) – Man City has had an impressive journey in C1 this year and is only one match away from championship glory.
Entering the 2022/23 Champions League as England’s number 1 seed plus the entry of super striker Erling Haaland, Man City is naturally considered the top candidate for the championship.
And that was proven right in the opening match when Pep Guardiola and his team destroyed Sevilla – the team in the C2 final with a score of 4-0 away from home.

Although the final score was 2-1, Man City only really won thanks to two superstar moments and was almost held by Dortmund at home.
In the remaining 3 matches, Man City played leisurely with a rotating squad to win 2 0-0 draws away from home against Dortmund and Copenhagen before ending the match with a 3-1 win against Sevilla at Etihad.
Entering the knockout round, Man City’s series of matches often took place with the scenario of an away draw and a big win at home.
In all away matches against Leipzig in the 1/8 round, Bayern in the quarterfinals and Real Madrid in the semi-finals, Man City all drew 1-1.

Thus, from the group stage to the C1 final, Man City was unbeaten in 10/10 matches, only conceding 2 goals at home against Dortmund and Sevilla.
Their opponent in the final match will be a resilient and defensive Inter Milan.
As for Green Man, after losing two years ago to Chelsea, they once again have a chance to return to the Champions League final.
11 years ago, C1 witnessed a new king, an English club, with Chelsea winning their first European championship in 2012. And in this year’s tournament, that could happen again with Man City – the team that is hungry for the championship.
