Premier League title race between Man City and Arsenal.
Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa have qualified for the Champions League but places in the Europa League and Conference League are still up for grabs.
As it stands, fifth place would guarantee Europa League qualification – and that will be claimed by Tottenham if they avoid defeat to relegated Sheffield United.
However, if Spurs lose at Bramall Lane, Chelsea – the only team that can catch Spurs, will finish fifth if they beat Bournemouth at home.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently sixth, meaning they will play in the Europa Conference League.
But if Bournemouth wins at Stamford Bridge, Newcastle will rank sixth if they win against Brentford. While Manchester United is level on points with the Magpies but it is difficult to get ahead of Chelsea due to their inferior goal difference.
The battle to qualify for the European Cup is also very dramatic.
But there’s a twist – as it all depends on the FA Cup winner, who will also be awarded a place in the Europa League, when City meet Man United at Wembley on May 25.
If Man City wins the FA Cup – and since they have secured Champions League qualification, their Europa League qualification will go to the sixth-placed team in the Premier League.
The Conference League spot will therefore go to the seventh-placed team – currently Newcastle, although Man United will move above them if they beat Brighton and Eddie Howe’s side lose to Brentford.
But if Man United wins the FA Cup, they will play in the Europa League.
