Recently, Pega Vietnam launched a new electric motorbike model called Pega eSmart AI.
During the launching ceremony, Chairman and General Director of Pega Vietnam Company – Mr. Doan Linh proudly affirmed: `Pega eSmart AI is a product made by Vietnamese people, the pride of the hands and the community.
Mr. Linh also gave a lot of praise to the new model, describing it as a breakthrough in the electric vehicle industry in 2024. According to him, although the Pega brand is somewhat unable to compare with long-standing competitors in the market
According to information from Pega Vietnam, the new electric motorbike has overall dimensions of length x width x height of 2,230 x 750 x 1,150 (mm), respectively.
The vehicle is equipped with many outstanding features including: full LED lighting system, road map, keyless password lock and the ability to manage the vehicle via phone application with remote anti-theft lock feature.
The highlight of Pega eSmart AI is the integration of virtual assistant and touch screen.
Users can easily find directions and get directions right on the car screen, without using the phone.
The multifunctional virtual assistant also supports battery charging reminders, bad weather warnings and provides maximum support for the driver.
In addition, Pega eSmart AI also has entertainment features such as watching movies, listening to music along with a smart safety warning system, emergency notifications to relatives and remote anti-theft feature.
Pega eSmart AI is equipped with PMSM motor, the latest generation of permanent magnet synchronous motor using rare earth.
With this technology, Pega eSmart AI not only achieves high performance but also operates stably and saves energy effectively.
This electric motorbike model uses a 42Ah lithium battery, providing a maximum capacity of 4,000 W and maximum torque of 140 Nm, maximum speed up to 100 km/h.
The vehicle has two operating range options per charge: 110 km or 160 km.
Regarding price, Pega eSmart AI 110 km version costs 42 million VND, while the 160 km version is sold for 50 million VND.
Pega Vietnam aims to sell 1,000 cars/month, a quite modest number.
In addition to serving the domestic market, Pega has also proposed strategies and plans to export products to international markets such as India and Indonesia.
Pega (formerly HKbike) entered the electric vehicle market 5 years ago.
Currently, the company owns an electric vehicle assembly factory in Yen Dung, Bac Giang, with an area of 15,000 m2 and a design capacity of up to 40,000 vehicles per month.
